From his Midwestern roots to his home in the Southwest, Ely’s music captures the beauty and challenges of everyday life in the quest for connection. With a style described as “indie-folk meets the singer-songwriter vibes of 1970s Laurel Canyon,” Ely has spent two decades perfecting his craft. His latest project, One Take Sessions, showcases the raw intimacy of his songs and stories, offering a glimpse into his journey as an artist.

Ely has a special connection to Denise’s hometown, and there’s a fun story behind it—perhaps you'll hear it! Based in Durango, Ely is making waves as a performer and will open for The American Authors at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College in spring 2025.
